After seeing a post yesterday that had LSU and Arkansas very similar against top 25 OOC, I thought something looked odd...so I did a little research. It appears our piggy friends were reporting false data. Here is a breakdown of all OOC games for each team since 2000, including bowls, sorted by rank of team played, and outcome:
LSU **(Regular Season games are in Bold)
#1 Ohio State (W)
#3 Oklahoma (W)
#3 Oregon (W)
#7 Illinois (W)
#9 Miami (W)
#9 Va Tech (W)
#10 Texas (L)
#11 Notre Dame (W)
#11 Penn St (L)
#11 Iowa (L)
#12 Va Tech (L)
#14 Ga. Tech (W)
#15 Arizona St (W)
#16 West Virginia (W)
#18 North Carolina (W)
#18 Texas A&M (W)
#22 West Virginia (W)
#24 Georgia Tech (W)
Overall, 14-4 record against top 25 OOC since 2000.
Arkansas:
#1 USC (L)
#3 USC (L)
#6 Ohio St (L)
#6 Texas (W)
#7 Texas (L)
#7 Texas (L)
#10 Oklahoma (L)
#11 Kansas St (W)
#14 Texas A&M (W)
#15 Boise St (W)
#18 Tulsa (W)
Overall, 5-6 against top 25 OOC since 2000. Take a close look at that power they played in those last 3 wins...of their 5 total.
Some other tidbits, LSU was 6-1 against top 10 OOC teams, while Arky was 1-6. Also, LSU has all 14 wins against BCS Schools. Arkansas has a grand total of 3 OOC top 25 wins against BCS Schools.
If you take the bowl games out of the equation, LSU is 6-1, Arkansas is 4-4, with wins over Boise (in 2002), Tulsa, A&M and Texas. Quite a big difference in level of top 25 games won between the two schools.

Post the stats without bowl games, as that is what an OOC schedule is, bowl games are not part of the OOC schedule, they are after the regular season and are not scheduled.

Just posting the facts, unlike the hog fans yesterday...it ain't even close, as I suspected. Of particular interest is results against elite competition.

That is incorrect...out of conference is out of conference...it is how you perform against teams outside of your conference. However, I did post the results. Congrats on your wins over Boise (2002), and Tulsa...that is two of your 3 total wins since 2000...whereas LSU is 7-1.

Again, the post yesterday was about out of conference scheduling, your above post includes Bowl Games, which are not part of an Out Of Conference schedule.
Total fail on your part for all that hard work.

Sorry it is embarrassing to you to look at your results overall.....as for yesterday, which I did address in my post about strictly regular season games...you guys actually are 3-4, with wins over boise (2002) and Tulsa. LSU is 7-1. The post yesterday was completely inaccurate. I was simply correcting it, but went a step farther to show how LSU and arkansas has fared against all Top 25 OOC teams since 2000. If anything, bowl games are much more important.

I really don't give a shite, I just think it's funny you did all that research then made a thread about it when the conversation yesterday was about OOC scheduling in the past.
Sorry that bowl games are not scheduled, and that you forgot/missed the topic of conversation.

Didn't forget...regular season is clearly identified.....and it took me at most 20 minutes...and I went a step farther just to show how poorly arkansas has played against top competition outside the conference. The information by arkansas fans was wrong yesterday...now it is corrected. Again, sorry your total ooc performance is tough to look at.

Yeah I've noticed that a lot lately, all he does is troll Arkansas.
He was brutally bad yesterday, worse than dickfaw.

I also troll Tenn....let's get it straight.
I am honest....come with facts...sometimes it is tough I know...but it is the truth.

Speaking of tickfaw, What was it like around here when Stony Brook beat LSU?

Curious as to what you are using because you only listed Boise State once and they finished the 2000 season ranked #18, and the 2002 season #5 in the country with the only loss to Arkansas.
