Unless there's a top tier school trying to run their program off a cliff, he'll be waiting a while.

It's funny how little kids like you get on here and spew that garbage and literally do not have a clue what you are talking about. He had some great years at Tenn, and a HELL of a lot better than anything you have seen in the past several years. He struggled at the end, but he won a lot of games for that school...not to mention conference and national championships. You guys are a laughing stock of a program now, and it ain't all his fault. Kiffin did more to destroy that program in one year than fulmer did his entire time.

I tend to agree with this. He could have put a few solid recruiting classes together and had them back on top. Yeah UF overshadowed UTs success, but that doesn't mean UT didn't whip the rest of the conference's arse consistently.

lol. It isn't all his fault. Most of it was Hamilton for letting him wreck the car, and THEN drive it off the cliff. Nobody is mad at Fulmer for pre-2001. And while the Kiffin bolt sucked and was a part of it, Fulmer was the captain of the sinking ship.

And if someone has a time machine they could use to go back and hire him in the mid 90's, you might have a point.

He didn't struggle, he let everything he and Johnny Majors worked for fall apart completely.

I guess that explains why Kiffin is the coach of one of the top teams in the country and Fulmer got passed over by Kansas in favor of Charlie the Hutt.

I just noticed this part. Are you a native Ohioan or Ohioite, or Ohioer? Whatever you're called it makes sense if so.

Oh and GFY

this. fulmers recruiting machine broke down at the end. didn't rodney garner(?)leaving for uga have a lot to do with that? ut had to turn to south carolina for recruits and spurrier began to win those battles so ut was kinda out on an island. kiffin expanded the recruiting field but took lotsa thugs; even more than fulmer. ut is a tough recruiting place. while they spend more money than any other sec school in recruiting they just don't have the base in tennessee that they need to be consistently successful.
