It must be a down year in Mississippi. Normally in an up year there, OOS schools will have way more guys committed.

How so? Last year Liggins was the only highly rated guy to sign out of State, and he still hasnt qualified.
The year before there was only 2. Travis Dickson to LSU and Jermaine Whitehead to Auburn.

I would say it's a down year based solely on the fact that only 5 of those guys have offers from OOS BCS schools.

We normally don't have but between 4-8 four star or better recruits each year.
Arkansas has a bigger population than Mississippi and I don't see that state pumping out a ton of recruits. I bet you'd have trouble making a top 10 list.

This isn't about Arkansas though. I can think of 10 kids from MS off the top of my head from last season that had OOS BCS offers. I imagine there was probably more. I'm not sure why that bothers you but I bet most would agree its a down year in the state. These things go in cycles.
