I would have put something else there but I'd rather have that ring with 2nd nationally on it instead of not having one at all.

Don't get rings for runner up, that's stupid. If you want SEC champion rings, go for it.

I'm sure they get a SEC champs and BCS ring. Alabama got three rings in 2009. And two in 2011.

Makes more sense.. I guess the BCS rings also acknowledge them as SEC champs, as well..

Second place is nothing to sneeze at especially when you win the vaunted SEC and dominate your regular season but I could see where you might be disappointed with that on the ring.

I don't know about getting a ring for making it to the BCSNC, but that ring is for the SEC championship.

No you don't....they got three and LSU got 2 because you get one for the division, one for the SEC and one for the NC.
