The SEC voted to add equestrian as a sport. It will start in 2012-13, with Auburn, Georgia, South Carolina and Texas A&M fielding teams.
Equestrian is a collegiate sport? Also, how is Kentucky not involved with anything that has to do with horses?

well being a cow college i think we've got a good shot. Just wait till we start winning national titles, it's about equal to winning one in baseball in my book.

Wasn't women's Equestrian South Carolina's only national championship before they won the college WS?

ATM can have Equestrian...
Bama will gladly take the 2011-2012 titles in...
- Football (2 of the last three years)
- Women's Gymnastics(2 years in a row)
- Womens Golf
- Softball (fingers crossed)
- Mens Golf (fingers crossed)
I will flip my shite if Bama ever won the Basketball title(possible with a great NCAA run) or the CWS(not likely in the next 5 years).

Why can't we have NCAA Hockey???????????? I love Hockey and most of the SEC schools have club teams. Lets get in on that Frozen Four!
Also what does the equestrian sport consist of? Lexington, KY hosted the World Equestrian Games a couple years ago..... It was a big deal and I don't see how the Horse Capital of the World(lexington, KY) doesn't have a team.

Auburn just won 4974 more national titles. Equestrian and Swimming is their thing. No one is better.

Pretty much UGA USC Auburn and aTm own Equestrian, just another sport the SEC has locked down
