Do you think bounties exist in the SEC?

More along the lines of pay for performance, big hits, touchdowns, turnovers, ect?
I don't think the bounty thing exists from an injury standpoint, however I think it is obvious you have had some dirty coaches/players over the years. These things are pretty random though for the most part.
Just curious what everyone thinks... In the day and age of recruits posting pictures on twitter with 10's of thousands of dollars cash, new cars, jewelry, ect.... Is it possible these guys are getting paid for preforming?
Personally, I would bet it's happening at a school or two right now. And honestly, I couldn't care less.
ETA: well I guess I COULD care less, being that I posted about the subject

Yes. Auburn defenders racked up 11 or 12 G's during the 05 iron bowl.

Hell there are bounties in high school.
of course there is in college.
eta: Maybe not full blown bounties but targeting definitely. Targeting is a much bigger problem than bounties and happens a lot more often imo.

Well...not in real $$. That would be illegal and we know that all NCAA coaches follow the rules. Maybe an extra milk at lunch for a torn ACL or something.

For big plays yes but not sure the hundred dollar handshake is the same as a "bounty"

Shouldn't every player want to make hard but clean and legal hits on every play?

To be fair, Dareus got a new suit AND a new charger after the 09 BCSNC

That's what makes college football > NFL. They do it for a friggin helmet sticker rather than an envelope full of cash.

Yeah, you've got to be a super homer or retard to think performance incentives (and PFP for that matter) do not exist in college football.
