Why no love for Auburn in preseason polls?

Finished 25 in the BCS after killing UVA in their bowl game, upgraded tremendously at defensive coordinator, return a lot of talent on a team two years removed from a National Championship.. I don't get it with some of the teams ranked above them..

Question mark at qb. Questions at rb. questions at OC. Nobody is gonna be surprised if Auburn is good, but nobody knows what to think yet, except that they will get torched in the second game.

Killing UVA in a bowl game hasn't been an arguement for a higher ranking in about 15 years.

Auburn shouldn't have been in the top 25 all year last year. It was a joke each week that they were even ranked. They were riding on the wave of their national championship.

Running abilty that Trotter and Moseley didn't/don't have, and a ton of improvement with passing during the Spring. I'll take more from this Spring because we actually saw what he could do when the situation wasn't shitty. Malzahn didn't exactly put him in situations to succeed.

This thread is about the 2012 season, not the 2011 season. And "riding on the wave of the championship" typically happens the year after you actually win a National Championship...
