Early returns have them blaming it on Jeff Long for firing BP and hiring a players coach. Completely ignoring the fact we had already had two guys arrested this offseason alone before Petrino was fired.

Peterson probably would have started next year at either OT or TE.

Guy is huge and lumbers down the field and is not nimble or fast enough to be a full-time TE in our passing offense. I could see him be our short-yardage TE, or full-time TE if we become more run-oriented. Haven't seen him at OT, but I'm guessing he'd have to switch to that position and stay there for a year or so before he would get a legit shot at playing time. That's just my opinion though and you may be right.

I thought they moved him to OT during the spring? Might have been somebody else.

Makes sense to move him to OT. There was a walkon running at 4th string TE behind Gragg, Tate and Dean.

I don't remember hearing his name at all during practice?

Because we lost 1 starter, one situational player and one guy who will never see the field this year?

The SEC is now going to meet Mr. Minor sooner than expected.

So, since the NFL Draft, graduation, and now the burglary, these are the players gone from Arky's 2011 football team:

1) Jarius Wright
2) Greg Childs
3) Joe Adams
4) Marquel Wade
5) Andrew Peterson
6) Maudrecus Humphrey
7) Jake Bequette
8) Jerius Nelson
9) Grant Cook
10) Jerry Franklin
11) Grant Freeman
12) Broderick Green
13) Issac Madison
14) Tramain Thomas

I know I missed some, but that's a lot of turnover for a team that some expect to still compete for the SEC West title... I don't see a lot of help on offense outside of Tyler Wilson, Knile Davis, Cobi Hamilton, and Dennis Johnson. They might be in trouble after the 2013 NFL Draft when all of the above enter. Ouch. What a horrible time for CBMFP to screw up.

Yeah that's why some fans thought we needed to hire a coach now. There is a ton of talent leaving after this season and the job may not be as attractive in December as it is now. Even with BP, 2013 was going to be a rebuilding year.

Are you talking out of the 3 from the burglary, or out of the 14 players I listed?

ETA'd to clarify.

Are the ones that hurt, the others... meh, and I suspect we'll see Wade back at some point this year.
