Haven't heard anything on Vandy how are they looking this year?

better than past Vandy teams, but still one of the worst teams in the league, along with UT, Black Bears, and Kenturkey.

Franklin seems to have them going in the right direction, but it'll be hard for them to ever finish in the top 4.
Still, I think they have a lot of returning starters and they came pretty close to beating UGA, UT, Arky, and UF last year, and I think they'll pull off an upset this year. Hopefully they knock off USCe week 1.

We are gonna murder that arse. Lattimore's comeback tour kicks off to the tune of 26 carries, 185 yards, 3 TDs.

Ton on injured guys for spring practice so hard to get a clear picture, but here we go. Return 18 starters total (9 on O; 7 on D; and 2 ST)
Starting talent is some of the best I've ever seen at VU, but depth is a major issue especially on the lines.
Lose some key players on D, but return a solid group. Middle of the conference in most statistical categories (5-7) range and expect to be in that range for 2012.
Rodgers and Carta-Samuels will battle for starting QB and RB Zac Stacy returns after a record setting season. Warren Norman (former SEC Freshman of the Year) is still battling injuries and is a big question mark. Expect a lot of different formations and looks on O next season. O line has depth issues, but starting 5 are decent. RB and WR depth is probably the best it has ever been.

I hope Vandy wrecks the East this year. They are the only team out of the East that I truly respect, well them and Mizzou. That's a hell of a note. I just hate they will go 4-0 against OM before we do this season.

Neither of us are fond of Ole Miss, so that may play a role.

I'm excited to see how Brian Kimbrow can fare in the SEC. He does have the disadvantage of having one of the thinnest offensive lines in the conference though. I'm not too hopeful of Jordan Rodgers, but with our improved running game, I can see us going bowling again.

In regards to Kimbrow, one thing you can't teach is speed. Small, quick backs have been tearing it up lately, and the SEC is not immune (see Oregon-Tenn).

I see them bowling again. Possible 7 wins. They'll beat someone they shouldn't.
I just don't buy Rodgers as QB. He can't throw and defenses are going to start to putting more in the box and spy on him so he can't run. It'll be interesting to see if he gets beat out.

Will be a solid 6-6 w/ a possible bowl victory. Vandy needs to do all they can to hang on to Franklin.

why? He was good at times last year.

There was the VU prediction thread I posted in, and I thought 7-5 (although 6-6 is more realisitic).
I think Franklin's a hell of a coach and really think Rodgers isn't too bad of a QB. Really was impressed with what they did last year for sure.

Probably because most people are thinking, "Huh? Vandy has a football team?!"
