imo its just not smart to trust college kids to not frick with your car if you have a rivals sticker on it.
Couple years ago after a LSU/Ark game in tRock there was a LSU car with basically every window broken out. Sucks that some idiot fans take shite that far.(We had won that game even )

I have a friend who was at an Iron Bowl in Auburn and busted Auburn fans egging their own car. They were going to try to blame it on my friends who were parked next to them, so my friends recorded it and showed a nearby cop.

The big xii has nothing to miss. A&M should never had been in the conference but Ann Richards had to save her alma mater.
I did enjoy the trips to Nebraska and Colorado. Nebraska had such a great fan base it was as if you were in Plesantville. Colorado had the hippy chicks that were friendly.
I'm an SWCer, and I'm more happy to get Arkansas back formally and I'm extatic to play LSU again. The list of pros going to the SEC verses the list of cons leaving the Big XII makes this a no brainer.

They are going to miss the other team's hand signals. That shite is as gay as State's cowbells and we don't do that.
UT hookem:
Baylor bear claw:
Texas Tech guns up:
Kansas State wildcat hand sign:
OU upside down hookem:
old Southwest Conference signs they already miss:
TCU horntoad:
SMU pony ears:
Rice owl wings:

The Big 12 was as cool as getting Easy E full blown AIDS.... The towns sucked and the fan bases were meh for the most part.
I will miss nothing about the remaining schools. I do miss Nebraska and CU for the reasons Jobu mentioned.... Seemed like I got laid on every Boulder trip.

Some SEC players and coaches will do hand signs but fans doing them is not looked upon fondly.

I'l miss the K State mascot and weird towel videos. I'l miss the infamous Bear Pit at Baylor. Thousands and thousands of students yelling for their team, darth vader mask or not. I'l miss the Tech bell ringer and all the scholars at Texas Tech University. I'l miss the Iowa State Cyclones. Wait so they are the cyclones, but a bird is in the middle of that cyclone, lol what. I'l miss the glorious Baylor Line. One of the best traditions of college football. Floyd Casey Stadium is one of the meccas of this great game we follow. I'l miss the Oklahoma State fans hitting their stadium walls with that paddle shite that they have. Little did they know, that their input of energy does not equate an effective output of noise in the greater scheme of things. I'l miss Boomer Sooner being played every 2 seconds. I'l miss Texas fans claiming that their are Texas, yet their school is filled with hipsters and fedora wearing people.
Big 12 Conference is an elite conference and has an outstanding future ahead of it.

Bella, first off - your friend's boyfriend sounds like like a true idiot. First, he's rather stay in Lubbock that visit Austin? Hmmm. And second, a stuffed coyote in the living room? No. No way in hell.
I'll miss the Nebraska football and kU basketball rivalries. Oh, well. Those days were on the clock as soon as bevo got involved anyway.
That's pretty much it. In addition to Nebraska, the Iowa State fans were always very nice. To me, it seems like MSU may be somewhat like ISU. Always competitive in the sports they participate in but rarely on top, meh location, nice people, ag school, rural influences.
I'm looking forward to new rivalries and traditions, road trips and a camaraderie that didn't really exist in the big 12. I"m looking forward to something new. Heck, I'm even looking forward to Rocky Top, it's a huge improvement over Boomer Sooner!
I think our most natural rivalries will develop with Arkansas, Kentucky and Tennessee because we border those states. And I think we'll have a very cordial relationship with A&M since we joined at the same time, escaping the same BS situation.

Moving HQ from Kansas to Dallas sealed the deal.
The HQ's were actually in Kansas City, Missouri. There's not much on the kansas side of the border except suburbs and NASCAR.
As for what I'll miss most, probably the big 12 basketball tournament at Sprint Center in KC, as well as big 12 basketball in general. I won't miss big 12 football.
