Not saying that he was our best player, but Jevan Snead against Vandy in '08. 6 interceptions. Like a boss.

I remember Eli Manning having a shitty game against Alabama in 2002. We got the hell beat out of us in that game.

One name popped into my the second i read your post. But I'm not sure if it qualifies. The "best player" part is my problem. But i'm only mentioning it because a hoard of our fan base holds him (held him) in that "best player" esteem.

Wanna guess?

LSU fans,

I thought that Mathieu had a bad game against Alabama in the NC game. Has he ever had a worse game?

The running game, overall, was so disappointing in '10. For most of the season, Ingram acted like he didn't want to be there.

93' sugar bowl.

I am still mad at my mom for that. I had the tickets in my hand, but she would not let me miss a day of school of so I could go to the game(12 years old, can't argue much). My dad got the tickets for free and made good money scalping them i think, so I guess it worked out since I would of been rooting for Miami.
As for LSU, I don't remember. Can't use JJ, because he wasn't anywhere near our best player. With as bad as the offense was, can't blame anything on TM7

1 carry each for Darren McFadden and Felix Jones in a 28-24 loss to Vandy at home.

Wrong way Bo, Iron Bowl '84
Sullivan & Beasley shut out in the '71 Iron Bowl
Cam's first half - 24-0, '10 Iron Bowl

There seems to be a recurring theme here

I don't remember bad performances due to heavy drinking. For instance 1/9 p.m. to 1/10 early afternoon no longer exists.

Matt Flynn's first half against Ark. in 2007 was pretty pathetic.

LSU should have run away and hid in the first half of that game.

And yet, had he not been present on that night, he would have just another largely forgotten quarterback. Sure, he developed into a decent college QB, but we've had a whole string of those.

Make not mistake--he was a LIABILITY in that game.

I've never seen anybody get as much mileage out of showing up and saying "present" as that guy. He gets on my damn nerves.

Arkansas WR corps in '10 Sugar Bowl. Not even a game if they make their catches. Dropped TD on the first play of the game and played catch up the rest of the way.

Ben McDonald against Stanford in the CWS as a freshman.

JaMarcus Russell every time he played Florida or Georgia.

Shaq in basically any NCAA playoff game.

This year it is Jarrett Lee at Bama. He had 3 completions on 7 attempts (42.9%) for 24 yards with 2 INT's and no TD's..

Coming into the game he had completed 98 of 155 attempts (63.2%) for 1650 yards and 13 TD's with 1 INT.

For the opportunities he was getting he was doing pretty well.
