First, congrats to all players that got drafted. It was a phenomenal 1st round for the SEC. Which players do you think will come in and make the most impact in their rookie season, besides Luck/RG3? And which picks did you not like?
Trent Richardson is coming in as the #1 RB for the Browns. Browns have a good OL and a good D. Trent will def help them from the get go and I am looking for him to have a great year and become a leader for the Browns.
Morris Claiborne could have the biggest impact on his team as a rookie. I am not a cowboys fan at all, but they were a CB away from being a good team last year. Now they have Claiborne that will step in and be their lock down CB. They have a better than average pass rush that will help out Claiborne and they have an offense that can score at ease. I look for Claiborne to be that guy that turns the cowboys from a 9-7 non playoff team to a 10+ win and a playoff team.
Melvin Ingram was the best value draft pick last night IMO. The Chargers were lucky to get him at #18. He could be the best all around athlete in this draft. He can play LB, DT, DE and is solid in pass coverage. Not sure where he is going to play, but wherever he plays he will make an impact and be a rare play maker.
Also loved Pats taking Hightower. Bellichek will love this guy and will use him perfectly.
I did not like the Bears taking Shea McClellin from Boise. Also did not like Harrison Smith to Minnesota and Quinton Coples to the Jets. Coples has the size and measurements, but failed to put it on the field. I think Sam Montgomery was rated just as high or higher as him and he did not even enter the draft. Also, Dontari Poe. Blew up at the combine, but never dominated less than mediocre competition. I would of taken Cox, Brockers, and Ingram ahead of him.
Congrats again to all players. Thoughts?

Hightower fits the Patriots system like a MF'n glove.

The Browns have a great left side of the line, but two turnstiles on the right side.

A non skilled postion O-lineman but how we define 'impact' in our highlight-centric world will make whoever that is anonymous

Trent is going to get plenty of carries behind a decent offensive line. Hightower was cloned to be in the Patriot's system so I expect he'll have plenty of success as well.

congrats to all of them for getting paid. I wonder how it feels to become a millionaire.
they won't ever have to work a shitty 9-5 office job like I'm doing right now.
