Auburn loads the bases. Kody Ortman strikes out looking to end the side.

:sigh:

I'm with you. I really don't know what to think about our program right now.

Yes, why start this thread?

Until AU learns to pitch and play defense, and until we get a coach that doesn't order our offense to bunt every freaking inning, I vouch that another AU baseball game thread never be started.

I was shocked to find out we committed multiple errors to help another opponent build yet another insurmountable lead.

What a joke.

Jacobs took a chance on an a coach that had a lot of success at a smaller school, which I can't necessarily blame him for. But this is the SEC, and Pawlowski is clearly overmatched in the coaching department. Other than rely on one of the best offenses college baseball has ever seen in 2010 -- guys he didn't recruit, by the way -- he hasn't done anything in four years.

Pull out the checkbook and go get a proven winner at a high level. Enough is enough.

And Auburn commits another error...3 on the day. We now have more errors than hits.

I seriously thought about driving down for this weekend's series. Looking like a good decision not to.

Auburn making it interesting. Holmes' one weakness the last 2 years has been that he's prone to giving up HRs.
