Baton Rouge is def the worst, getting up there as the worst in the country per capita

Baton Rouge, Columbia (SC), Knoxville and Nashville are definitely on their own level in terms of crime.

Baton Rouge isn't the worst in either violent crimes per capita or total crimes per capita, but they might be tops in per capita murders.

Gainesville was ranked as the 5th meanest city in the USA by the National Coalition for the Homeless twice in a row, in 2004 for its criminalization of homelessness and in 2009 for its ordinance restricting soup kitchens to 130-meals a day.

If only this would translate to our defense....
