I don't mean that running fast, blocking, and tackling are new. I just mean that Bama and LSU are obviously playing football differently than everyone else. It is old school, but REALLY fast, controlling the ball, and using defense almost like it is offense.

They're not 'playing football differently' they just have better players than everyone else.

LSU played "old school" because they didn't have a QB. If Andrew Luck was on the roster or RG3, then they wouldn't have played the same style.
If I were LSU I would do it again this year. I'm not sold on Mett at all.
