What's the deal this year??? I know this was predicted to be a East-is-best year, but geez. The West blows overall...

State and Ole Miss are both 10-2

State looked solid this weekend, but ole miss ain't played nobody. they both should be undefeated, as should LSU and Arkansas.

We're 11-2, ranked in the top 10, we'll be fine.

LSU too. Arkansas is 11-2. So really, just Alabama and Auburn suck dick.

This isn't football or even basketball. Teams drop games to lesser teams now and then

Arky has looked good so far, they are a top 5 team. LSU, OM, and State are all 10-2.
The Alabama schools are hot garbage, however.

I still think we will have a tough time in SEC. We are too young at the plate. Today we started one upperclassman, and he is a juco transfer.

I have confidence in guys like CT, Frazier, Norris, Rea, and Renfroe

I'm actually more excited about the future of our basketball team than our baseball team. I wasn't saying that 2 yrs ago.
Just don't know what has gone wrong with our baseball program. Still can't pitch and still can't field.

The West looks like they are doing just fine, in my opinion.

LOL@this thread.
Seriously?
Vanderbilt is 4-7.
Georgia just lost to 3-6 Western Illinois.
And you want to come after Arkansas/LSU?
"Should be undefeated" this isn't football. Kentucky is the only undefeated team and they will most likely finish last in the East.
Gimme a frickin' break.

I'm was kinda being sarcastic, but in all seriousness, the west teams have lost to a bunch of shitty teams. And yes, as you've pointed out, so has the entire sec. Yeah, it's early, but for the most dominate conference in the ncaa, it has not been a strong start to the season outside of usc and florida.

Well we'll see if app state is shitty or a decent mid major. They've only lost one game besides the one they lost to LSU.

good point, bbap, but lsu shouldn't have lost the series, especially the way they did. App state has a very experienced team, and they should do well. Still not on lsu's level.

Series losses happen. I wasn't happy about it either though.

Yep. Part of the game.

Losses to directional schools happen sometimes in baseball (especially early in season).
