Would you rather make $5,530,080 in a year, or continue on this semester?

How about
$3,627,720.?

How about
$1,596,360.?

As a Kentucky fan I would love to see these top rated freshman and sophomores stay longer than a year but when examining their yearly salary I'm pretty sure I would do the same thing.

NBA/UK PLAYERS
Eric Bledsoe ---$1,596,360.00
DeMarcus Cousins --- $3,627,720
Josh Harrellson ---$473,604
Enes Kanter --- $4,133,280
Brandon Knight --- $2,563,320
DeAndre Liggins --- $473,604
Daniel Orton --- $1,105,560
Patrick Paterson--- $1,959,960
John Wall --- $5,530,080
Chuck Hayes --- $1,679,914
Tayshaun Prince --- $6,292,135
Jamaal Magloire --- $854,389
Jodie Meeks --- $854,389
Nazr Mohammed ---$3,750,000
Rajon Rondo ---$10,045,454

Definitely can't blame anyone for taking the money.

BTW, Enes Kanter counts even though he technically never played for UK?

Or play basketball for UK, and do both.

for 1,000,000+ per year i'd quit college and accept a job being waterboarded everyday, much less play a sport I liked

Go pro. You can always come back and get a degree.

How many years of high school bball do you have to coach to make up that $800,000.

$44,939,769.00 If you don't know how to use auto sum on excel. Is the total for all the UK players. That's a good chunk of change for just one year.

As an accounting major, I looked up the salaries for the big four, over 15 years I would only make 1.7 million dollars. They make that in a signing bonus.

Point guards often flourish in the NBA when they were just decent in college. And to be fair, Rondo has had a hall of fame team with him his entire NBA career.

Not diminishing Rondo's accomplishments, but Pierce, Allen, and Garnett is one hell of roster.

Albeit they are old as frick now.
