First they gauged the interest of some longshots like Jamie Dixon and Jay Wright.
Chris Mack at Xavier was their top realistic candidate though, and he was scared off by the NCAA uncertainty. Cuonzo was the next guy.

Could Mississippi State get Chris Mack for $2 mil. What about Archie Miller at Dayton.

I think you dodged a bullet if true. He did well with all of the talent Miller collected, but he has been lost since the fight in December.
If Brady, would he bring Richard Williams with him?
Majerus is 62, but surely he would like to be some place other than SLU. He can recruit and coach.
