Gregg Marshall turned down Tennessee and NC State last year.
This is not correct.
Hamilton interviewed Marshall when Pearl was hired and determined he was not a good cultural fit.
He was not a serious candidate last year and was certainly not offered the job.

The only way I really see MsStake going is an Assistant. That's their MO and they don't change. Few years and process papers for a new one.

say they need to get Shaka or maybe an assistant from a power program. They don't spend money to get a big time name.
Shaka is locked in at VCU.
A name I like is Chris Mooney at Richmond.

Wasn't Cuonzo the only one offered at UT?

I also realize a good coach, is a good coach. He's barely been above the .500 mark. I also know that he was woefully inconsistent at LSU. But by all means, Miss State should hire him. With Alabama's continued struggles, it would be one less thing to worry about in the SEC.

No but with Brady they should at least be at the top of the pack in the Sun Belt

How bout Darrin Horn?

No.
First they gauged the interest of some longshots like Jamie Dixon and Jay Wright.
Chris Mack at Xavier was their top realistic candidate though, and he was scared off by the NCAA uncertainty. Cuonzo was the next guy.

stAte is a death trap. Nelson Catalina is only guy that remotely given a real chance there. I love how you think coaches win games in mid major levels, it generally takes 3 years at that level.

Could Mississippi State get Chris Mack for $2 mil. What about Archie Miller at Dayton.

Rick Majerus or Jeff Lebo

But seriously, Gregg Marshall will get out of WSU this year. He starts 4 seniors. I see South Carolina hiring him.

Majerus isn't leaving SLU. They got better facilities and recruiting area than Starkghanistan

If he had offers from State and USCe do you still think he winds up at USCe?
