You don't have to have great speed to be a running threat

I saw Greg McElroy and AJ McCarron extend a few plays with their feet...but to be a true "running threat" great speed is helpful. Ask JJ.

I doubt we will even use him the same way since we have a new offense

I bet Loef will go a different direction...

He will be able to extend plays ala Big Ben from the Steelers and that'll be just fine by me.

Pump the brakes. I'm crazy for saying he won't be a great contributor...but you're not for saying he will be Big Ben'ish?

Also, it is kind of stupid to go ahead a wrote him off as being a QB based on a couple things that happened in high school.

I think he is going to be a head case. You don't. We'll agree to disagree.

JJ wasn't that great of a running threat.

Loef may go in another direction, but that'll only be because he gets his own QB in after Frazier leaves.

He's built just like Ben. Similar size, similar speed, similar attributes. I'm not saying he will be as good. And you didn't say he wouldn't be a great contributer, you said he'd switch positions.

I've already stated many times that I think he is a headache. You weren't around because you ducked out after losing to LSU first time around.
