Bobby Petrino's Arkansas "Defense" is ranked 58th the last four yrs?

Would having a defense ranked, an average of 58th nationally, (and second to last in the SEC) be the primary reason that Arkansas and Bobby P cannot/has not won the SEC West, SEC Conference, BCS Game or BCS National Championship during Bobby P's tenure?
Please note that Saban, Miles, Meyer and Chizit all won all of the above in year three or less and that Bobby is in year 5 with none of the above.

Petrino has done wonders with the hog offense...but will NOT win championships w/o shoring up the D !

Just seems to me, an outsider, that they have done something big based on the way they present themselves in public forums and such.....however I cannot find the supporting evidence to validate the hyperbole.

Single mindedness must be an Italian trait Petrino has been as neglectful on defense (at both Louisville & Arkansas) as Paterno was to offense at Sandusky State

So the "Four Ringholders" previously listed above got lucky ......and Petrino is simply on track?

I guess having recruiting rankings in the low 30's will help the average ranking get to the high 40's in just a few short years.
