Mizzou fans have penis envy. Period.

We've been there, done that, and have the trophies.

Damn, I guess the Mississippi river sucks all of our playing ability out of the team whenever they cross it or get within 150 miles of it.

Anderson won 30+ games and got u to the Elite 8. That's ur pinnacle

That is absolutely not the pinnacle of our program, going undefeated in conference play in 1990 would probably have to be the pinnacle.

On the other hand I'm not going to argue that I didn't think Anderson was a great hire at the beginning and the Elite 8 run was a great year. As people have been stating though it really did get embarrasing the past 2 years in the fact that he just absolutely could not win on the road. I wish all you Arky's the best with him, but I would be suprised if you win the conference in the next 4 years.

EDIT: In fact I would not be at all suprised if ol' Missourah didn't win one before Arkansas

No, he didn't recruit a single player for the class before he left. Pay attention.
That's why our team is stuck playing only seven players. Six of which are juniors and seniors (Flip is a soph).

well enjoy our misery, mizzou fans. you have a great team and we're painfully mediocre this season. just dont be surprise if we return the favor if fortunes are reversed in the coming years, just like Ole Miss in FB.

Pretty sure that's how this works.

Did this game really look as bad as the score was? Or was it worse?

For the record, I have a little part of me that emphatizes with Arkansas on this. They desperately wanted the Son of Nolan to come home and for it to be 1994 all over again.

Its not gonna happen. Anderson is not the guy to bring you all back to the glory days.

We've lived it with him already. 40 minutes of WTF. The full court pressure means defensive lapses turn to back court cuts and layup drills. Offensive sets and fundamentals are non existent. Run, Jump, Shoot is written on every page of the playbook. Blue chips will not come to play such a chaotic unorthodox system. Like the football Run and Gun, its a gimmick that has outlived its time.

We've seen before our eyes this year what an off the shelf person who is an actual basketball coach can do, given shelves stocked with basically all guards. Improvise, adapt, overcome and motivate. The result is obviously greater than the sum of what he was left with. This is not magic guys, its coaching 101. Fundamentals, discipline, cohesiveness, these things matter. Anderson was not able to sustain a system like that here.

Early returns are not good. I don't wish bad for you, but based on empirical experience here, I sure as shite would be selling ARK basketball futures, not buying.

It was bad. One of those games that just got away and we couldn't hit the broad side of a barn.

It did suck.
