Feel free to believe some "insider" who probably has never even talked to Foster. We will keep believing quotes directly from Fosters mouth like this one a week ago

First rule of recruitniking: Never believe an official word/quote from any verbal commit or prospect.

These are by far the most unreliable of all info. Follow the actions and the buzz surrounding the recruit. There is really no better barometer for how interested a recruit is in your school than how much traffic is on the threads mentioning a name over the course of the year, not just after an official or well-publicized unofficial visit/camp. This rule does apply to the "right" boards, leaving the DawgRant out in the cold. There are a few very reliable UGA boards out there and, if they are talking about a recruit, it is because the recruit is talking to the coaches. It certainly doesn't mean a commit, but it definitely means the interest is there. Oh, and Foster will supposedly be making his way to a JR day in Athens this weekend.

Awesome. He's been to both of Bama's JR days so far and has been actively recruiting at both. Nkemdiche at the first and DeMarcus Walker at the second:

Of course UGA will continue to recruit him - as they well should. However, I see this being UGA's version of Tebow for Bama. We had tons of signs that he was seriously considering us, but in the end we couldn't overcome the lure of playing for his favorite team. Chances are the same will happen to UGA in this case. You'll still have a top 5 class, so don't get all butthurt just because someone is saying your chances to land a kid who is committed to the team he & his family grew up pulling for, in a state where he grew up until recently, and for a coach he loves, aren't as high as you'd like to believe.
