When is he supposed to retire again?

(Don't kill me Bama fans, people say the same shite about Saban as they do Spurrier. Only difference is retirement instead of different school)

Go Cocks!

I don't want to see him coach until he gets senile like Bowden. He should put down the visor soon IMO and ride out into the Florida sunset.

Oh come on. Every year we see Saban to some school threads, and right under them are the Spurrier is washed up and is gonna retire threads.

I legit thought he'd retire after that loss to Uconn.

I never really thought about it, but Spurrier did the exact same thing Saban did, but UF fans don't seem to hate Spurrier as much as LSU fans hate Saban.

We don't hate Spurrier at all. I hope you see the huge difference between the two.

The real question is: will South Carolina be worth a shite before he leaves?

Spurrier is #2 in SEC wins behind The Bear. Most wins at UF. And if he wins 10 games in 2012, he'll have the most wins at SC. he's gunning for this record.

Did South Carolina get any commitments today? I didn't see a SC sticky on the recruitment board.

I would have done it, but had to work. No real surprises or drama. Our recruiting board was pretty much set for a while

You didn't have a 30 yr home losing streak to USCe in the past and they were not a threat in present day to UF?

Dude come on. Quit flaming. We've had a horrible history and have competed for two years now. Not all of us are Bama and LSU.

Spurrier went to UF, won a Heisman, coached at UF and won a championship.

Saban only did one of those things at LSU. Huge difference.

Spurrier is a Gator. Saban is a hired gun. NTTIAWWT

I wrote him off after the 2009 season and so did everyone else. I thought 35-28 after all the time in the world to turn it around (5 years) was simply not getting it done.
he bloomed late in 2010. good thing they didn't fire him after 5 years of mediocrity.
