Mettenberger has some proving to do first I know he played some JUCO not sure how much he played at UG but I would not put all my money on him just coming into this role on the team and being a leader for your offense! As much as these LSU players are confused and have lost some confidence in their coach. Bama may just be in their heads now! But LSU has the best chance to go all the way and the fans and players would be well deserved of it after the let down in 2011!

If anything, I think the Bama game may be etched in stone in these players' minds. They lost in the big game, but remember that they have won 2 of the last 3 games from Bama.

edit- yeah, the league is way too good to dominate by any one team. Arky the last several years is proof- they have NO hardware, but easily could have been a title team both years had they played in other conferences.
