Are we America's team yet?

No one seems to even consider this point. Is it because we're in the south? Come on America.
We have more NC's than any team in the nation. That is not even disputable anymore. No matter what you acknowledge. 9 or 14.
More conference titles. Notre Lame doesn't even play in a conference.
The greatest "legendary character" in Bear Bryant.
Greatest history.
Most in bowl appearances/wins.
Alabama SHOULD be acknowledged as the greatest program and "America's team."
Notre Dame, USC, and Texas can fight it out for 2nd.

I guess America is not watching TV based on the rating of the game. Maybe the radio figures are much better.
