Bama beat LSU, plain and simple.
Jefferson didn't do anything, it's the coaching staff's fault for using a 100% identical gameplan to the game in November.

It wasn't the same gameplan. Smart has stated that what you guys ran last night bore no resemblance to anything you ran all season long. You didn't throw deep. You didn't challenge the middle of the line. You didn't try to impose your will. You played the edges all night. LSU has not done that all year.

By no means am I trying to take away from your victory. Your team was extremely prepaired and I think the experience of the players off the 09 NC team helped alot. That being said. If we got just a little bit of offense I don't think you guys score 21. Even if we would have made 8 first downs it would have effected the score.

We didn't throw downfield because JJ was being too much of a pussy to throw the ball.
We ran the option over and over even after Bama shut it down early in the game. Bama prepared for it because the option was successful against them in November. LSU had no gameplan after that. The coaching staff was going to live or die with the option just because it worked before. There was absolutely no reason for option plays to be called late in the game, but they were.
It was just a massive brain fart by LSU. Bama puts 8 in the box all night, yet no passing. Regardless though Bama is without a doubt the best team.
