So did I. So I checked the NFL database and counted 221 Bama players drafted. Then figure in free agents. I'm confident the numbers are different for every team you posted.

eta- I counted 221 on the NFL all time draft list for Bama.

If you notice, the OP only posted players who played in at least 1 game. Probably a more meaningful stat.

He's using a faulty database. NFL dot com lists 221 Bama players drafted.

I see. One game.

Why not use more detailed criteria, such as... players put into the NFL on odd number of years then?

Because players who make it onto practice squads is pretty irrelevant and are only spot fillers?

Your hyperbole is a terrible example.

I think OP did a good job.

eta: And It looks like it was the easiest way for him to actually find the data.

how is one game more or less detailed than 3 years as a player?

what constitutes a year? 8 games? 16?

Why not a season? Could be in the NFL as backups for yrs and never see action. Just make it easy and put it out there, Lsu leads players in the NFL from teams in the SEC that start with the letter L. Yall are getting as bad as Aubies with the selective stuff to try to measure against Bama.

Lsu has a fine tradition, and has been very successful, especially of late. Don't diminish your school by trying to get into a dick measuring contest.

LSU has had more players play in the NFL than any other SEC school.

Is that better?

True gump

Living in the past like no one's business.

At least you'll still be leading the series after you lose Monday though. Celebrate a national championship for series lead over LSU like you did for recruiting a few years ago?
