Nice to know the fan bases think alike. Ya'll are down playing the other school commitments as well as any school.

Those top Alabama players are ranked by the same system used to rank the Louisiana (and other states players). I don't see how the rankings could be that far off from one state to the other.

Well Shanks doesnt even start for his HS team. What does that tell you?

And I said Casher is a beast, but he wont qualify. He also doesnt really fit in our system. Would fricking kill in yalls.

Nobody's saying Casher isn't good, just that he won't qualify.

We'd obviously like to get Winston.

Losing Shanks, on the other hand, isn't a big deal.

No we aren't. Shanks didn't start for his HS team and barely played this season because he's soft and lazy. If Casher enrolls at FSU this fall the NCAA needs to be 3 feet up their arse before he gets his books.

Winston and Casher are both really really good. Casher just won't qualify. Shanks is a head scratcher. He has talent, but he doesn't even put forth an effort part of the time, let alone all of the time. No reason to even have him in the top 20 in the state rankings. Unless the FSU coaches miraculously discover a way to motivate him, he will never play a meaningful down of college football.

I've seen Shanks play several times. not saying he's bad, just that he's not as good as you might think based on his ranking. & why would Bama pursue him when they have a great shot at Eddie Goldman?
