I just read the espn article, and the General Manager is quoted saying that GMac previously spoke with him about it. He also says that other players and coaches talked to him about the same things. So, that kind of rips that part of your argument to pieces.

What's the name of the GM quoted as saying he spoke to McElroy previous to the interview? Can you post the quote?

Well 56% of the US think it is Accurate and not out of line. I don't have a problem with what he said. You find problems, you fix it. That is what you're suppose to do when you're a leader. Meh.

Jets general manager Mike Tannenbaum responded directly to McElroy's comments later Wednesday on WFAN radio. "Some of the things that happened this year, they can't happen again. I've talked to a number of players besides Greg McElroy, a number of coaches ... and we're going to fix a lot of these problems," he said. "Chemistry was certainly a factor this year. We haven't denied that. When we put a team together, which is my responsibility, you need talent, character and chemistry -- and we didn't get it done. We were 8-8."
