TR leads team with 3 and Maze is second with 1 TD catch???

Not really sure where I was going with this one...CSB, I guess. I just found it suprising since the media would have us believe UA has a "very balanced offense"

ETA: I see AJM has 16 tds, so I guess that means he spreads it around a bit. Don't know how many he's run in though.

TR doesn't lead, and five players have more than one receiving TD.

Corndog research at its best.

that's fair enough. I just got the TR and Maze stats from espn as "leading receivers". Maybe that was just total yards and they weren't paying much attention to TDs

Thanks for the minor flame attempt. Like I said...espn, and sorry I didn't go and look at every fricking stat on bama websites. That's what this site is for...verification.

What other defense has Bama played besides LSU?

My God, can we not have a thread with actual football talk, without the pathetic flaming? What does Alabama's attempts at balance on offense have to do with who LSU has played? Please tell me that.

Don't be a crybaby. You made this statement so I wanted to know who you were keeping in check. If you don't want to be questioned about it,type shorter, concise answers.

Non sequitor. But that IS what I was attempting to do.

Nevertheless, I do have to agree with whoever said that Maze talks a whole lot of shite for a guy with on TD catch on the year.

How was any of my original post talking shite? I merely raised a question.

"very balanced offense"

Receiving Statistics
NAME REC YDS AVG LONG TD
Marquis Maze 56 627 11.2 69 1
Trent Richardson 27 327 12.1 61 (TD) 3
Brad Smelley 27 317 11.7 35 (TD) 4
Darius Hanks 21 270 12.9 36 1
Kenny Bell 16 229 14.3 41 (TD) 2
Michael Williams 14 181 12.9 37 (TD) 2
DeAndrew White 14 151 10.8 39 (TD) 2
Brandon Gibson 14 140 10.0 23 1

The TD's are spread around or using another term balanced amount the receivers.

The true meaning is that Bama has 2638 Rushing yard and 2563 passing yards if this helps in your understanding of what the media is trying to say.

It doesn't matter if the defense is ranked #1 or #101, you're going to attack it with some semblance of balance. My statement still stands true no matter how you, or anyone less, perceives Alabama's schedule. Considering how Alabama and LSU have virtually played common opponents the same, I'm not sure why this continues to be harped over.

Sure, why not. I'll tell you what though... I'll go about my day as usual, and you can keep being really really angry at inconsequential, not to mention non threatening, things that get you all worked up.

I never stated the OP was attempting this.

Maze has had a great year and came up with big plays as a WR and returner. Outside of his brashness towards Tyran Mathieu, he's never been a player to call attention to himself.
