Neither team has a QB that can take advantage of his talent.

Atleast Arkansas, Oklahoma or LSU will have QB's next year that can sling it..

LSU doesn't exactly "sling" it and with that backfield they don't need too.

OU and Arkansas are the logical choices.

LSU will have

2011
Bama passing 2563 yds
Lsu passing 2082 yds

2010
Bama passing 3395 yds
Lsu passing 2023 yds

2009
Bama passing 2631 yds
Lsu passing 2363 yds

Understand the Arky and Okie argument, but not so much your Lsu take.

The biggest perks Arkansas has is DGB's family loves Arkansas, and over the past few years you have heard about 4 Arkansas wide receivers as being the best in the nation. Sure they won't be first rounders but Childs, Wright, and Adams will all be drafted. 3 WR's drafted from 1 Class on the same team is impressive.

He won't, but I guess it could be a moral victory for either of these fanbases to claim that they finished in his top 5 when he goes PRO... He'll go to a passing team like:

quote:

Arkansas, Oklahoma

It's definitely between these 2.

I would put my money on Oklahoma, but I haven't followed his recruitment as closely as Arkansas fans. They seem pretty confident that they will land him on NSD.

Rueben randle went to LSU with no quarterback.
Plus why would you pick a school for the quarterback that you may only see your freshman year?
Geez, lighten up LSU fan. Especially about quarterbacks.

LSU fans are going to be sad when Mettenberger turns out to be a mere human.

Texas is the #1 public University in the nation... I almost went there, that degree carries alot of cache in a really big state.
