LSU has its own Trent Richardson

Tent Richardson is a bruiser, no doubt about it. But I think our freshman Hilliard is well on his way to becoming just as valuable to LSU as Richardson is to Bama. And don't forget the fact Hilliard is the youngest of 5 awesome backs in the LSU line-up. He's going to be a great one!

I think he and Blue will have a great game against Bama. Both are big and fast and very tough to take down.

At the end of last year Ware was going to be unstoppable. Then Ford. Then Blue. Now Hilliard.
You guys need to settle on which one of these RB's is eventually going to be so good.

It is a great problem to have.

4 carries 0 yards against western kentucky says enough. dude is a beast
i'd say he's more of a shitty jalston fowler if anything

I have no dog in the fight, but Hilliard puts Fowler to shame

Hope the Bama team is as ignorant as their fans.

As a fan it is hard to convey how comforting it is to have a number of great backs. They might all be stars if they got 30 carries a game, but the fact that no one back with a bad day or a twisted ankle will put us in a huge hole. Imagine how much an injury to TR would hurt Bama's chances. There is also no stress about a back leaving early for the NFL.

Why? They are all good. Ware, Ford and Blue would have numbers much closer to Trent's if they were a featured back. Are you saying that because each don't have gaudy numbers that none are good? I'm not sure you understand LSU's running game if that's your position.

jalston has 1 fewer carry than hilliard and 20 percent more yards... but an auburn fan would know shame so i'll take your word

Isn't this considered a good thing

How many TDs does the mighty jalston have?

Hilliard has 100% more touchdowns, but we know Bama fans don't count scoring in their analysis of STATS.
Looked up yards and edited.

Hilliard > Fowler,Anyone outside of you realizes that.

I don't know much about fowler or his statistics but FTR Hilliard was mainly used as a situational fullback up until the auburn game when Ware was suspended. He's moved up from 4th string and has played a lot more as a true freshman including a 100 yd game vs Arkansas and a 72 yd game vs UGA

He touched the ball 9 times against UGA, accumulated 80 total yards and scored 3 touchdowns

It would be if any of the predictions ever materialized. So far, I've just seen a few good backs running behind a good O-line. No superstars in the mix as far as I can tell. If there was one, you guys would give him more touches.
