The Bama class of 2008 currently has a record of 47-6, having gone 12-2, 14-0, 10-3, and is currently 11-1. 3 of those losses came at the hands of NC teams, (FL, AUB, and LSU assuming they get at least the AP trophy.)(Bama also lost to Utah, LSU and USC).

Congratulations and good luck on win # 48, which would mean your second crystal football. Roll Tide! This would make you the winningest class in ALA history.

Nice run Coach Saban. You better stop LSU in the BCSNCG because they are about to start their own run.

Roll Tide. Another NC would be great for this class.

Considering the history of Bama football, that is saying A LOT.

We've already started it, brah.

2-0 since '09, got you in Nola, then BR.

Milk every last drop of your once-greatness, Bama.

A freaking BOATLOAD of NFL players in that 2008 class for Bama.

Barron
Cody
Dareus
Hightower
Ingram
B. Jones
J. Jones
Lester
Upshaw

Funny paert is a ton of the "Top" players in that Bama class were busts, but still had these guys pan out as NFL talents.

That class also produced (at least) one national championship, a heisman, and 3 1st round picks w/ Hightower, Upshaw, Jones, and Barron all being possible 1st rounders too.

Their 6 losses have come to:
#1 (three), #2 (twice), and a top 15 USCe team.

Does this mean Saban would be considered a better coach than the Bear?

Looks like Saban will have to settle for 47-7 which ain't bad, considerin'. The 2009,2010 and 2011 LSU freshmen are all likely to reach similar marks IMO.
