The Bama class of 2008 currently has a record of 47-6, having gone 12-2, 14-0, 10-3, and is currently 11-1. 3 of those losses came at the hands of NC teams, (FL, AUB, and LSU assuming they get at least the AP trophy.)(Bama also lost to Utah, LSU and USC).

Congratulations and good luck on win # 48, which would mean your second crystal football. Roll Tide! This would make you the winningest class in ALA history.

Nice run Coach Saban. You better stop LSU in the BCSNCG because they are about to start their own run.

Roll Tide. Another NC would be great for this class.

08's class was insane, as was 09's. 2010's and 2011's were good, but not on the level of the previous two. This year our recruiting class is going to be sick. Linebackers galore, hopefully Barry Sanders Jr, some great wide outs, and our DBs will be looking good too.

We've already started it, brah.

2-0 since '09, got you in Nola, then BR.

Milk every last drop of your once-greatness, Bama.

Nation 'bout to take da reigns....

At least it is an SEC program.

Losing to mid major is just embarrassing. I still embarrassed LSU lost to UAB.

Maybe it has something to do with Saban. He has losses to UAB, ULM, and Utah at SEC programs.

Utah finished undefeated, ranked #2, and beat the shite out of Bama like LSU hasn't done in decades. Not fair to hate on that team imho, ULM was much worse.

Utah's only real accomplishment was beating Bama. They played a shitastic schedule which could only be respected by someone whose team lost to a team in the mountain west.

Bama lost because Saban got out coached horribly. It was embarrassing.

A freaking BOATLOAD of NFL players in that 2008 class for Bama.

Barron
Cody
Dareus
Hightower
Ingram
B. Jones
J. Jones
Lester
Upshaw

Funny paert is a ton of the "Top" players in that Bama class were busts, but still had these guys pan out as NFL talents.

You have to consider that a lot of the great Bama teams had 10 game seasons.I have enjoyed the past four years very much!

That class also produced (at least) one national championship, a heisman, and 3 1st round picks w/ Hightower, Upshaw, Jones, and Barron all being possible 1st rounders too.

Their 6 losses have come to:
#1 (three), #2 (twice), and a top 15 USCe team.

the past four years have been great, almost make me forget the previous 10 or so...and,yes, alabama teams have had some great 10 win seasons...but, the sec has never been this competitive or dominate. so any team that can excel during this unprecidented sec run, can be considered pretty damned good.
