Couldn't stop what? LSU scored 6 points in regulation, you moron.

Last I checked LSU ran for more than 100+ as a team. Bama had prided themselves all year by not allowing teams to gash them for yards. They couldn't stop us moving the ball when they needed to most and allowed us to get in range for FG's, moron.

Memphis each team had one "drive" that lead to a field goal. LSU's drive was aided by a busted assignment on Shephard's 38 yard pass reception to the ALA 8 yard line just before the half.

LSU's other FG was the result of Claiborne's interception return to the ALA 15 yard line. (Great play Mo!)

Both team's offenses struggled to move the ball. LSU executed much more effectively in the OT period, giving the Tigers the win. Bama Shite the bed in OT. LSU 13-0. Bama 11-1. They meet again in NOLA.

I just don't see any significant improvement by the LSU offense. The responses I received to my OP have been less than illuminating.
