after Erik Russell left and went to Washington State with Mike Leach. I've read Napier is a good recruiter and would help us coaching TE's. What do you guys think of Napier? Would it or would it not be a good hire on Dooley's part?

Great recruiter, but sucked as an OC at Clemson. His offenses relied too much on players like CJ Spiller springing big plays rather than sustaining drives.

I must say I am a little worried about DD's ability to get it done at this point. I like Coach Dooley and really wanted him to be successful at Tennessee but after this year I must say I think he has next year to win 9 games or his arse will be shown the door.

Just my opinion.

a lot of people think Dabo constantly changed his plays, which never allowed him to execute a gameplan. when Clemson hired Chad Morris, his contract gave him the authority to call the plays, so there might have been something to it.

He is only being brought in as a position or assistant not the OC, correct? If so then I wouldn't worry about how he did as OC at Clemson, whether it was his own failing or do to interference from Dabo.

Pretty good hire, especially with regards to recruiting, more specifically the state of GA.
