I don't think any LSU fan is scared of them. They are just annoyed that they got in this game in large part because of their name and legacy.

LSU – Top to bottom – is a much better team and it really isn't that close.

I'll take the 4 running backs we have over Richardson (who will deservedly win the Heisman) and scrubs like Lacy and Hart.

The only spot where Bama has a clear advantage is linebacking play...that is it.

I would agree, except that I think that RG3 wins the Heisman.

"Ya'll scared" is what Bama fans fall back on when they realize that they have no other argument...kinda like when the left falls back on the "racist" arguments against conservatives.

The reason this never gets settled is because you're all correct. Every group of fans has its share of sissys, braggarts, and every other adjective you can apply. Some LSU fans are scared. They wanted a coronation, not a game. I was ambivalent (a coronation against anyone but Bama would have been nice). Make no mistake, though, I think LSU was the better team on Nov 5; I saw Bama begin to collapse as it headed into the 4th quarter; and I think LSU has improved since then. I think everyone with a brain in Bama's organization knows they need everything to go their way to win this game. I expect them to take some rash gambles like Georgia did to try and steal a possession or two so they don't wear out their defense. I give them a 30% chance of success. Am I scared? Well, I hope the 30% doesn't come true and I worry that it might - same as every game.
