Agreed Gus didn't get it done this year. But he did get it done when he turned the grind OFF. I enjoyed the hell out of that.

OP, I'm thinking that if you would check the other 6 threads started over the last 72 hours about this very same topic you would find all the SECr brilliance and flaming hat you are looking for in regards to aforementioned very same topic

Alabama player was asked about the difference in Georgia Southern and AU and he said he has seen AU enough to adjust and make the plays where he had not seen the option at all so it was harder to read the plays.
That is why Malzhan did so well the first few years and now without a player like Newton he will be very mediocre against good defenses in the SEC.

Malzahn > Mullen
Yes, but I (like many of the ADs he reaches out to about jobs) don't have a high opinion of Mullen's ability.

AU > MSU
Understatement.

But I agree, Malzahn didn't get it done this year.
another understatement.

I think the play of our defense through the year makes what happened fairly obvious

Same thing happened in the 2009 Iron Bowl.

AU was very limited in its offense this year due to horrible offensive line play.
I can tell you just about what play Alabama runs but it comes down to execution of that play.
