I love Bama fans. The only fan base I have ever seen that gets more confident after a loss.
The real question is why can't you acknowledge that you weren't the better team that day. The excuses and the claims of winning everything but the scoreboard. It is really quite ridiculous.

I can. LSU won. They were the better team, as you put it, 'that day'. If Bama doesn't make it to the BCSNCG then I'll be pulling like hell for LSU to win it all. If we do make it, then I'll be hoping that Bama is the better team on 'that day'.

The better team doesn't always win. I witnessed Punt Bama Punt that proves that.
