At the end of the AU game.

He suggested starting Frazier the rest of the way to get him ready for next season.

Not sure i agree but it was interesting non the less.

I see the benefit, but we are still 6-4, not 3-7. You gotta give Bama an honest try even as improbable as a win seems.

I can understand this, but he would get demolished in the Iron Bowl.

I was confused that Frazier only played a small handful. Our scheme was completely different than previous games. Don't know wtf the team did for the bye week.

Along with everyone else. Good team building exercise.

This. Frazier will have his time to show what he can do. He has gotten some valuable experience this year and will have the bowl practices and spring to win the job. I believe we need to be set on a starter coming out of spring if we want to have a big year next year.

Also, we have to give bama our best shot even if our chances are slim and that is Mosely right now. No mailing in the season with the IB and what may be a decent bowl game left.

Some of you will recall I suggested starting him the entire season for the exact same reason before the season even started.

That sounds good in theory, but Chiz owes it to his players to put the players on the field that give them the best chance to win.

I haven't watched Auburn enough to know if Frazier would be an improvement over Moseley. If it is pretty close, then playing Frazier would be a good idea.

It is not. Frazier has thrown about 6 passes this year.

Probably not. O line can't block anyone as it is, if they know the play is going to be a run about 80% of the time, it could get even uglier against Bama. However, if you are desperate, you go with the desperation move.

And starting Frazier could go a long way in finding a starter for next year. Have him finish the year starting and get him another spring under his belt and he should be ready to go as a true sophomore.

Only positive is it might keep the score down. We could run more and maybe chew more clock so bama might score less.
