... and Urban Meyer. I'm sorry Tide Fans, but if Nick gets a better offer, from a school as historically prestigious as Alabama (Penn State) and has the opportunity to make a. more money b. his rep as a coach who won 3 NCS with 3 different schools in 2 different conferences c. wide open recruiting access to recruits Penn/ Ohio / Michigan area - he will.

Penn State is decent now - and thats with an 84 year old coach who routinely dismisses and revokes scholarships and scholarship offers from players whom seem to have any attitude problems, or academic problems. Nick will go there and have everyone. Look at the timing - Ohio State is going to be punished and is down ; Michigan still sucks ; Michigan State is at their peak and they still suck ; Nebraska is the new ChokeU ; Wisconson is a close second, and they are losing this wonderful team they've had after this year; he won't have any competition - and there are plenty of athletes up there.

You are REALLY dumb if you think Saban would want to go to a program that is in the midst of a child sex scandal. Put down the crack pipe, son.

Threads like these only perpetuate the idea that the corndogs are indeed scared of a rematch, and ultimately pissed that Nick just used them as a stepping stone in his career path.

inb4 "but dat dere Miles is ahead in da series so he must be the better coach"

I really want this to be true but I think Meyer is a much easier transition for us than Nick (not that we wouldn't love having Saban come here and save us.)

Dude. Nobody that is worth a shite is touching that program with a 50 foot pole.

It would take a shitload of money and there would be a HUGE public outcry if they place that much importance on football right now.

They will make a safe play and get some one decent for a modest amount of money for a year or two contract and let things simmer down

Recruiting to a school that had a 17 year long cover-up of a child molester on the football staff can't be easy.

Saban isn't leaving Bama for Penn fricking State. He's at one of the top three premier jobs in college football and in the best conference. He's got it rolling. He ain't leaving.
