Because LSU's winning was a direct result of Alabama's missed opportunities. If Alabama makes just ONE of the field goals that was missed in regulation, then Alabama wins 9-6.

Wrong. If Bama makes one FG, it changes the entire game moving forward. LSU gets a KO and not the ball at the previous spot. At that point, there is no way to predict the outcome.

Try telling Saban to punt instead of taking those risks with those shitty kickers.

You get my point, and it still stands. LSU's ultimate success was based almost solely on Alabama's missed scoring opportunities.

LSU won the game, but they didn't beat Bama

Yep. Just trying to explain why the media isn't giving LSU the credit they probably deserve.

And you dont get my point. That is flawed thinking. One play changes every play afterwards.

CLM doesnt call the same plays if he is losing at a point of the game that he was tied at.

Bamas miss opps contributed but in now way shape or form was "LSU's ultimate success was based almost solely"

Alabama's missed scoring opportunities were based almost solely on LSU's success in keeping Bama's offense off-balanced in the final third of the field.

We only attempted 1 field goal in regulation from 50 yards. We missed 3.

Yeah, and to act like those are just crazy flukes is pure intellectual dishonesty.

Keep crying, though.

I agree with this 100%. Even so, Alabama did what it took to get within scoring range. In fact, they did so more than LSU did. LSU's special teams were just that much better than ours.

We got our asses handed to us by LSU's special teams.

you took my post too literal. i realize the other two were from 44 and 49. oh my god 1 yard and 6 yards closer. I take my point back. Those are definitely chip shots.
