Hard fought game between both teams. I knew that from the beginning it would be the team that made the least mistakes that would go away with a win. There were mistakes made by both teams, but missed field goals, giving up good field position on a punt, and interceptions hurt us. Both teams played stellar defense but it was LSU that stepped it up in OT and pulled out the win. I don't know if we'll see a rematch in the NC (don't really think we deserve it) but if we do I think it will be a good game again. At this point I just hope that we're not too down and don't slip the rest of the season because we still have some football left to play. But congrats on a good close win Tigers.

Thanks. Alabama is a great team and will be very successful this year. It was an old school smash mouth football. Your observations in my opinion is on point. Good luck going forward.

I still have your e-mail from the '09 game. I meant to connect and hook up with you Saturday. Would have liked to have met you.

Atmosphere was indescribable. Tailgate setups on Quad and across the street is awesome. Stadium is amazing.

That would have been great.

I have never seen that many people in Tuscaloosa. It was awesome.

That's one of my favorite parts of gameday. Had a couple fellow SECranters come by and say hello and hang out for a little while. RedElephants came by with HBT and MSCoastgirl. Kaptain came by with Memphis also. I was splitting time talking with them and then with my fiance and some of her friends but I hope everyone had a good time.

Stadium is amazing.

I love it myself. Wish I could have been in there for the game, but after the end of the game I was glad I was at someone's house because I was home in about 5-10 minutes and didn't have to wait in traffic.

eta - anytime you need to use the email address feel free. glad you had a good time in Tuscaloosa.

Props, MJ, for a very hard fought defensive battle. Good luck to you guys the rest of the year ... unless we meet again in January!

Thanks, dude. FWIW, I really don't want a rematch. We could play that game again and again and the outcome might be different every time. Never saw two teams so evenly matched - but for kickers.

Good luck the rest of this year. Powerful team and I feel sorry for MSU and Auburn after the loss to LSU. If yall make the Sugar, I hope you draw Boise State and finally put an end to their delusional dreams.

I thought it was a great game. Two great defenses, two great running games. Passing is for sissies.

And who said Bama fans have no class?

Both teams still have a ways to go.

Arky won't be easy for us...but we got em at home

Best of luck the rest of the way.

Would definitely like to see yall shut up Boise

Great, great game. Really hated to be on the losing side, but the game certainly was up to the hype.

Considering the amount of alcohol consumed and the number of people, there was very little bad sportsmanship shown. It was an amazing college football game atmosphere.

I think I'll wait a couple weeks before canceling my hotel room in N.O....just in case.

Couldn't have said it better myself. About as good of a game I've ever seen. I don't care if both offenses were unspectacular. It was fun as hell watching these two stone wall defenses go at it. Good luck the rest of the way. I think most tiger fans and many others still think Alabama is number two in the country.

I second. Great game, atmostphere, and lots of NFL talent. The only negative was the PF on the Badger and injuring a great Bama player.

Agree, sometimes the badger reads too many of his clippings. Enjoy destroying AU in the iron bowl. I re-watched the game yest. and its not that both teams didn't have opportunities, its that the D's were just so good, the offenses looked mediocre. Against other competition 30 + points have been scored by both most of the time. Bama had -17 yards when they got to the 30 yard line.

That was a great game by both teams. Not much difference between the two at all.

If we do play a rematch, a lot of people will need sedatives to sit through that again.

Saturday night showed everyone in the country that those 2 teams are head and shoulders above everyone. I have stated this on here many times that Les Miles is a great coach. And he proved it again Saturday night. As a Bama fan, I take my hat off to LSU. The tigers played a great game. I know I would have enjoyed the game more if the outcome was different, but as I look back, I really enjoyed watching 2 great teams go at it. Again, congrats to LSU and I wish you continued sucess in your remaining games. Dont worry about Arky, LSU will beat em like a rented mule.
