It doesn't really matter what the score was or how it happened because Bama took the loss and that't going to be the end of story if LSU can take care of business and win out. There shouldn't be any "redo" which is all the Bama fans can cling to if LSU does win out. If LSU loses than things get interesting unless Arkansas has another loss prior to LSU, but unless that scenario unfolds Bama is on the outside.

It still doesn't change the fact that all the "WE AINT SKEERT" shite is so much empty post-game bluster.

Face it. You motherfrickers were just as scared as I was through that entire game. Just be honest about it. It doesn't change the fact that you won, and it doesn't revoke your license to swag for the rest of the season. It won't change the outcome of my 'favorite team' bet, which I lost and honored.

What it does is shows respect to a game which was worthy of it rather than cheapen it by attempting to devalue the competition. It's really not that hard to do.

It's called being a good sport. I'm managing to do it in the face of a loss.

Man, if this is your definition of good sport, then you must have also had a good win last night.

Why would anyone be "scared" of a football game? I might get excited and disappointed from time to time about the outcomes of games involving my alma mater, but in no way should I be scared of the outcome. The sun still rises tomorrow and if you are taking college football played by a bunch of 18-21 year olds that seriously you must not have a real high quality of life.

This.

However, I'd be all for a Bama and LSU rematch in the NC if there were no undefeated teams in other conferences. On paper anyone undefeated deserves a chance over a team with a loss. Going undefeated in another conference doesn't necessarily make them a better team than Bama, but it's only fair to give them a (long)shot.

A rematch wouldn't be a fun game to watch, but it would be between the two best teams. I'm not sure I could handle that level of anxiety twice in one year.
