Never really understood the "Tiger Bait" taunt, since bait is technically a lure to attract and entrap prey (i.e. Tigers).

Wouldn't "Tiger Meat" be a better taunt?

Actually, that kinda sounds like the meat of a dead tiger.

doesn't matter...most of our taunts here in the SEC make no sense at all. Like the whole "corn-dog" taunt...with all all of the great food that we cook here in Louisiana, yall all act like corn-dogs are our food staple.

Like Romans who used Christians in the Coliseum against the lions, we use bait to get our Tigers to entertain us. You are that bait, the Tigers devour you, and we are entertained.
