They need an excuse for why they may win cause deep down they know the beating waiting for them.

From what I gather from reading LSU fans' posts, I don't think they watched more than one Bama game last year, and probably zero this year. They just see that we lost some names that they'd heard of and assume we're worse.

The ONLY one of those guys we miss is Julio, and nobody else in the SEC has a Julio Jones either.

The offense this year is better and anyone who says it isn't doesn't know shite.

The defense is MUCH better, including the D-line for whichever one of you said it wasn't.

Bama didn't underachieve last year. They just had a lot of young guys in the secondary.

He said that LSU will shut us down worse than they did last year, and I don't believe that, because our team is better as a whole than last year, and we are not playing in TS....

So your feelings are better than his feelings?

Between the two teams I think LSU is the most improved.. and I don't think it is close. Up for debate, obviously. LSU went from having a good defense and no offense.. to having a potentially great defense and a good offense.

it`s starting to get annoying hearing LSU fans on talk radio and posters here talk about how delusional Bama fans are for daring to think we even have a shot in this game.

Ha ha ha, holy shite! I could say the same thing about Bama fans talking about how LSU has no shot in this game.

Why do you let this bother you? I live with it 24-7-365. Who cares? It will be settled on the field as it should be.

I think my feelings are more warranted

agree to disagree. Either one of us could be right seeing as how we have blown out every team we have played. We shall see on Saturday(damn it feels good to say that!)

Gmac would probably be flattered to hear all these LSU fans talking about how badly his departure is hurting us.

AJ has played just as well as McElroy; LSU fans are making too big a deal out of the difference between the two. Before '09 the only snaps McElroy had taken were in mop-up duty so it's not like he was particularly battle tested either. I don't see the point in comparing the two because it's pretty much been a wash up to this point.

You won't miss Dial. You won't miss an experienced QB when we keep hitting AJ? To say that Bama doesn't have a chance at beating us and a good chance is idiotic. Bama is good and was good last year. You will be the best team we face all year. We just are the better team this year. In fact last year we upset ya'll. Ya'll should have beat us with our hot and cold or I should say luke warm and cold offense. We had the potential last year, and were lucky to have it click against ya'll. Now our defense and Chavis is built to stop teams like yours. Meaning no mobile QB, and bring the pass rush.

Dareus as an individual was better than anyone we have now but the two deep up front this year is far better than it was last year

As for the defense as a whole, an extra year of experience, our only significant loss being Dareus, and a healthy Upshaw make a world of difference.

Also, Dareus definitely did not play up to his potential last year. Never really got a good pass rush going, and was meh on eating up space as a DT.

He, Upshaw, and Hightower all played at about 70% for all or most of last season. We didn't get to see what they could really do until the bowl game. Same with the OL and Ingram. Julio played hurt all of last year too, but Julio is a cyborg so that didn't count.
