If they can beat down a team that the dregs of the SEC beat last week... AS A SIGNATURE WIN. No question, playing NO ONE is the way.

A 1 loss sec team will always go to the championship game over an undefeated Boise team. Doesn't matter how good of a team Boise has.

diddy, you have enough to worry about, like going .500.
I just see a team of LSU's 2nd or 3rd teamers rolling up on have-nots, making a silly arugement. They deserve the Peach bowl for 12-0 against that schedule.
LSU beat more good teams in 4 weeks than they will all year.

strength of schedule does matter.
but if Boise is highly rated by human voters there is nothing anyone can do but wish that the Big ten and Pac 10 will permit a 4 team playoff.
The SEC and ACC and Big 12 and the Big east
should secede from the NCAA D-1.
Let the BIg ten and Pac 10 play their Rose bowl and
the rest of football can have a 4 or even 8 team playoff.
pretty soon the big ten and Pac 10 would whine to be in the playoff.

Not true, if one of the undefeated teams is an SEC team, there will not be a rematch. The only way a one loss SEC team makes the BCSCG this year, is if there are no undefeated SEC Teams. Wisconsin, OK/OK St (winner), Clemson/GT (winner) and BSU will go undefeated.

Boise will get to split the AP championship with the real National Champs every year until they can play in it.

He doesn't want to leave.
He loves Boise, gets paid very well and doesn't have the pressures of the high profile jobs.

A couple of things:
1. Petersen will never leave Boise until and unless he can get the same or better treatment for his son at another location that is also a better coaching spot.
2. The AP is no longer part of the BCS. Media writers have absolutely NO SAY in the BCS poll. The coaches, harris, and computer polls do. Boise is ranked lower in all three than the AP.
3. Boise has yet to play a conference game in their own new conference. While Air Force, TCU, and SDSU are not SEC quality, they are still better than WAC competition.
