I don't know how an A&M offer will affect him but as of yesterday he was a Hog lock if we let him commit.
He has a really strange offer list . He's from New Jersey and has offers from 2 programs that typically recruit pretty high level talent in Texas/SEC country, but no offers from the schools that usually recruit that area (Rutgers, BC, West Virginia, etc.)

gibson informed the coaches he is short on his SAT score and to move on.
That had to be a difficult call.

Yea, he will have to wait if he was to commit. He has an offer but they won't let him commit yet.

Gibson not qualifying is a blessing in disguise.

Just watched and he looks solid. Not bad considering our options at LB are getting mighty thin I guess.
Not bad? I don't get it. You're letting his star rating influence you. His video screams player to me.

Probably, it just came completely our of left field. We typically don't recruit out of state and if we do it's in other football states so that's probably influencing me more, but I'd definitely be happy if we get him. Were trying to get him in for a visit before NSD.

Keep in mind, NJ is a pretty good state for high school football. Especially by NE standards.

FWIW I hope we have room for him. Needs some weight but has a great motor. His senior season he had 57 tackles for a loss.
His grandfather is his coach and apparently a New Jersey legend so he should have the genes

Is his name pronounced 'arse-co-lease' or 'Az-co-lazee'?

I wonder how many towns in america can go from major college sports town to Biker rally and still maintain a hippy vibe in a lot of places? Fayetteville is without a doubt in my mind the most diverse and perfect town in america.
