I hope the injury faking stops as much as anyone. Its lame and pitiful. I simply don't feel sorry for an offense that has to run a no huddle all game though.

Here's a challenge Auburn fans: Draft the rule that makes it a 15 yard unsportsmanlike penalty to "fake" an injury. Explain the difference between a fake injury or fake cramps and a real injury so that refs can delineate between the two.

I agree with this. I dont know that you could even make a rule that would penalize during the game, unless it was just blantant.

I just dont want people bitching about a boo when it was a blatant flop :coughcoughsomeonefrom2010:

Again, there is nothing wrong or cheap about the HUNH. It is well within the rules, and is effective if an offense has specialized in running it. Just because a team specializes in it and it's effective doesn't make it cheap. Would it make any damn sense if I said Bama's defense is cheap because it has to run a 3-4 all game and relies on getting to the QB and hurting him as much as possible within the rules? Are teams justified in engaging in dishonest, unsportsmanlike behavior just because they have trouble matching up with the 3-4?

Here's my solution: If a defensive player is hurt, resulting in a stoppage of play, he is done for that series. If he is hurt, resulting in a stoppage of play, during the last 2 minutes of a half, he's done for the rest of the half. If a second player is hurt, resulting in a stoppage of play, during the last 2 minutes of a half, you play a man down.

You'd see an end to this shite real quick.

Chooses to. They run an offense that is built on power, speed, misdirection, etc. It is designed to tire defenses out as a strategy and make it difficult to position themselves correctly. It is an offensive scheme just as any other offensive scheme used to play on a teams strengths and take advantage of your opponents weaknesses. So if other teams or fans don't like it, too frickin bad.

I don't think any team who employs a hurry up offense seeks sympathy. The fake injury ploy is just plain wrong.
